Child Abuse Advert

This Logo design was influenced by the Nestle pure life illustrations and the Community Child Abuse Council. So I then use these illustrations to recreate an adult and a child together to show a sense of security.

These are my logo experimentations, I tried different colours, sizes and positions, which then lad me to my final logo design.  In order to get to my final design I consulted my classmates and teachers, which were extremely helpful to me.

Memory: Slogan Research

Slogans are the typographic attractions for marketing a product or service.

BBH - The slogans used in this advert were over exaggerated to create an humorous but an attraction to the product, which in my opinion was quite absorbing.

BBH- They have used soft and loving words for this product to show how enjoyable this chocolate can be. Having being this enjoyable you will always have that craving from more.
BBH- This is a simple slogan that straight away ties in with the image, there isn't a play with words but the slogan stands firm with the advert.

WE ARE FALLON- This slogan again is similar to the chocolate adverts above, but this commercial used less words but these words are strong and catchy. Right away it tells you exactly what the chocolate should be like.
This sony commercial used three words to attract the costumers , "like.no.other" right away you want to know what exactly is about this product that is like no other. So them the consumers are then ready to go find out everything about this product.
WE ARE FALLON- This is another Cadbury advert and they have used yet again another great slogan. Just by what is said " A glass and a half full of Joy " tells you that the chocolate is deliciously milky, which is quite clever.
This is a descriptive slogan, which tells you exactly what this shoe is like, this I really liked because then and there you're like wow well I want this product. I find the layout to be interesting because they use big bold texture and the smaller ones in the middle similar to tony arefin style of work, so right away we are focused on the big texture and then you stop and looked at the fine print.

This is another interesting advert where then have tried to incorporate the fonts with the visuals, which is quite absorbing. The slogan is talking to a young audience trying to attract the audience to be inspired.
INTRO- "Curling, the sport of a silence beautifully broken" This is the best slogan used amongst these adverts because it is a graceful and beautiful slogan that complements this sport. The advert recreates your views on this sports and then recreates it into something beautiful. This advert was extraordinary and
SAATCHI & SAATCHI- This t-mobile slogan is quite simple, because its a communication service it's lot more easier to communicate with others and its so much faster. So right away I was able to evaluate this slogan and obtain a clear understanding of what this service is offering.
The visa slogan has a contrast in the font sizes to show emphasis in what they are saying to the audience. I think the slogan was successful because its makes the customers feel a lot more confident with their purchases, whether it is national or international.
W+K LONDON- the ASDA slogan is very straightforward, their saying to the audience the prices at their stores are way affordable than the other stores. I like the fact that they didn't try to make it less competitive and that they are taking their customers into consideration.
They are two interesting areas in this advert, the heavy 3D serif font and the regular san serif font. I say this because right away I can differentiate the product from the slogan. The slogan is saying to the audience because of one persons dream this company has managed to produce quality and affordable vehicles.

Like the Honda advert they have differentiated between the brand and the slogan, the slogan is short, simple and catching. This is is effective because right away they slogan made a mark on the audience because it is easy to remember. Would it make them want to buy their goods or services? It depends on the prices I would say but it would make me want to go down to the store and check out the prices.
